For as long as I can remember art has been my release. It has given me a chance to escape into the worlds I created: the canvases became my confidants, the different techniques my music.
In 2003 I began my studies in visual arts. After 4 years of intense dedication I graduated top of my class, getting not only a B.A. in Visual Arts, but also a teaching degree in the same subject.
At the time I specialized in analogical photography and my work was a mixture of collages and photo-montages. I also developed a series of works with photograms, and most of my work at the time were done with black and white analog films which I developed myself.
Parallel to my studies I worked in different schools as an art teacher, including one school for kids with special needs, in this case, children with down syndrome. After college I went in a different path, working with graphic design for German Corporations in Brazil.
In 2007 I went to Germany to learn German somehow I ended up being invited to continue my studies at the Bauhaus University in Weimar where I began my Masters in October 2008.
In 2012 I got my Master of Fine Arts degree in Media Design. My Master Thesis focused on a short movie made entirely by myself, where I used a lot of different techniques such as stop motion mixed with real life videos, and the composition of most of the soundtrack.
Nowadays I still live in Germany and spend most of my time between freelance jobs as a graphic designer and illustrator. At the time my work is concentrated in collages and drawing.
I also kept my passion for photography alive, but I upgraded to the digital photography.
